<p>The closing device is used in systems for closing of specialized premises in the chemical industry and in building specialized spaces of general purposes. It offers the facility for moving of a flexible partition of light materials in both directions. Its design and that of its individual assemblies is simpler, light-weight, compact and technological, and furthermore it extends its application modes. The closing device includes a flexible partition (1) the side edges of which are fitted in guiding grooves (3). A driving device is connected to partition (1) which moves it to closed position, transmitting longitudinal loading to the guiding grooves (3). The flexible partition, along the length of the side edges (2) is supplied with rigid elements and supporting facilities. The guiding grooves (3) are vertically positioned, and the side edges (2) are made rigidly in the direction of the moving of the partition (1) to closed position. The rigid components are arranged in series along the length of the side edges (2) and are touching each other or are connected in a moving manner one to another engaging at least partially the edges (2) forming an extended 3-dimensional profile in the form of a connection piece (6) with elongated first (10) and second (11) end. Between ends (10, 11) there is a slit (9) in which partition (1) is fitted on one of the sides of which, in the direction of the sides edges (2) the first end (10) of the connection piece (6) is extended having a smaller length than the length of the second end (11) so that a free section (12) is formed between two successive adjacent first ends (10) with a facility of folding the side edge (2) laterally to the plane of partition (1).
