PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of performing correction of the irregular rotation of a PC drum, with respect to the image forming device such as a printer and a copying machine equipped with the PC drum for the image formation. SOLUTION: Relating to this image forming device, the rotary operation of the PC drum 110 is detected by an encoder 120 equipped on the rotary shaft 160. The detection signal is compared/calculated with the normal value in a CPU 100, the correction value is outputted to a LED driver 130. The exposure of a LED 170 is performed at the exposure timing for correcting the irregular rotation. By performing the correcting operation, after repeatedly removing low frequency component of the detection signal provided with the high reproducibility by the frequency filter, the correction can be performed with regard to only the fluctuation portion except the rotation fluctuation due to eccentricity on such as a rotary section. |
