<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively restrain generation of light leakage, in a reflector- movable-type vehicular headlamp having an extension reflector. SOLUTION: In this vehicular headlamp, a rib 26c extending into a seal groove 14b of a lamp body 14 is projectingly formed on the back surface 26a of an annular extension reflector 26 provided between a front surface lens 12 and a reflector 22 so as to surround its front end opening 22b. In the reflector-movable-type vehicular headlamp, direct light from a light source bulb or stray light in a lamp chamber 16 travels into a back space 34 of the extension reflector 26 through a clearance formed between the rear end 26d of the extension reflector 26 and the front end opening 22b of the reflector 14, but all of light directing to the outer peripheral flange portion 12a of a front surface lens 12 are shielded by the rib 26c, and therefore, the light is not radiated as leaked light to the external portion of the lamp.</p> |
