PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug connector with a shielding thin plate in the condition that the plug connector can be connected to a conductor passage of a printed wiring board guided for grounding without providing an uneconomic brazing or press fitting process. SOLUTION: A shielded electrical plug connector for surface mounting on a printed wiring board is provided with a connecting end to be connected to a conductor passage of the printed wiring board, and has an insulating plug casing 1 provided with an electrical connecting element, which contacts with a contact of a complementary plug connector for connection, and provided with a shielding thin plate having a contact edge, which contacts with the conductor passage of the printed wiring board guided for grounding. The shielding thin plate 2 has a holding edge positioned at a side opposite to the contact edge so as to be fitted to the plug easing 1, and the shielding thin plate 2 is locked with the plug easing 1 with a space from the holding edge. |
