PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature-measuring device that is compact, has small heat capacity, and uses light with superior sensitivity. SOLUTION: A minute sphere resonator 124 composes a temperature sensor part, and light from a light source 112 enters the minute sphere resonator 124 via a prism 123. The diameter of the minute sphere resonator 124 ranges from severalμm to several mm. In the minute sphere resonator 124, light circulates in the minute sphere resonator for setting a resonance state (a whisper corridor mode). The resonance state has temperature dependency and is detected by light from the prism 122, thus measuring temperature around the minute sphere resonator 124.
