PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive the reduction of cost by reducing driving sources such as a motor. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a spindle motor 21 for engaging with a disk to rotate it, a rotation means supporting member supporting the spindle motor 21 and movable in the engaging direction engaging with the disk by advancing the spindle motor 21 to the disk moving route also movable in the disengaging direction disengaging with the disk by retreating the spindle motor 21 from the disk moving route, and a holder 7 which is capable of holding the disk and moving forward/backward in the inside/outside directions of the device, for making the rotation means supporting member move in the disengaging direction at the time of moving outside the device while the rotation means supporting member is moved in the engaging direction at the time of moving inside the device, then the spindle motor is moved in the engaging and disengaging direction by the forward/backward movement of the holder 7.
