PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the airtightness test of a molded fender body by a simple method and in a short time and to enhance the productivity of the airtightness test. SOLUTION: A transparent plate 9 which is provided with a liquid inflow port 8 and an air vent port 8 and which is composed of an acrylic resin plate, a polyvinyl chloride plate or the like is attached airtightly, via a seal material 10 and a fastening member 11 such as a bolt or the like, to the end face of a mounting metal fitting 2b which is formed integrally with a cap 2. The air vent port 8 is formed in the uppermost end of the transparent plate 9. A pipe 13 which is provided with a valve 12 is connected to the air vent port 8. In addition, a liquid supply pipe 15 which is provided with a valve 14 connected to a supply means is connected to the liquid inflow port 7.
