PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the increase of transmission loss of an optical fiber located at four corners of a laminated body of a tape-like coated optical fiber when a cable is pulled, in an optical fiber cable which is constituted by housing the laminated body of the tape-shaped coated optical fiber in a SZ spiral groove of a spacer with grooves so that the tape width direction is directed to the groove width direction at a central part between reversing parts of the SZ spiral groove and the tape width direction is directed to the groove depth direction at the reversing part. SOLUTION: The inside surface of the SZ spiral groove 2 is constituted of groove sidewall surfaces 2e, a groove bottom surface 2f and groove semibottom surfaces 2g. The groove bottom surface 2f and the groove semibottom surface 2g are made to be planes having width larger than a tape width of the tape-like coated optical fiber 3. When the cable is pulled, the width surface of the tape-shaped coated optical fiber 3 at the reversing part is pressed to the groove semibottom surface 2g to equalize side pressure.
