PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a camera in an action state, to release a wireless slave mode and to enable the camera to execut a light emitting operation under a normal mode by detecting the action state of the camera and releasing the setting of the slave mode and emitting light by a command from the camera in the case of loading a stroboscopic device to the camera by setting it to the slave mode set. SOLUTION: In the case that a communication terminal from a camera is at a high level, since this stroboscopic device set to a slave mode is loaded to the camera and a power source of the camera is in a turn-on state (S101), wireless communication interruption by a light receiving element is inhibited in the case that the communication terminal is at a high level (S102). Successively, in order to receive serial communication from the camera, serial communication interruption is allowed (S103). Continuously, a strobe mode is set to a wireless master mode (S104). By executing the aforesaid operation, the wireless slave mode is released and the mode becomes a mode capable of normally emitting light.
