PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately fetch an image even in the case where the playing position of a player is deviated from a prescribed position by arranging an auxiliary illuminating means for illuminating the player inside a window which is installed on a surface opposite to the playing position of a game device main body. SOLUTION: In the case where a player stands at a position different from a position A and also the position A comes close to this device, the lighting of main illuminating devices 16, 17 has a tendency to intensify light from the side of the player's face so that the light in the center part of the player's face weakens and there is a possibility that the measurement accuracy is deteriorated. Therefor, an auxiliary illuminating device 18 as an auxiliary illuminating means such as a fluorescent lamp is installed near an image input unit 4 so as to illuminate the player's face from the front. A large recessed part 19 is formed in front of the installation position of the image input unit 4, that is, on the player's side in the device main body 1 so that the auxiliary illuminating device 18 can be arranged in the part 19 and the auxiliary illuminating device 18 is arranged in the recessed part 19.
