The window has at least one casement which can be placed in a frame (1), and which has a casement frame (2) and a window pane (3). The latter is fixed on the weather side of the casement frame using a retaining profile (5). The profile has a seal (6a) which lies against the window frame when the casement is closed. When the casement is in this position, the profile may also overlap edge components (7,8) which project from the window frame, or may work in combination with a seal which is arranged on the window frame.
