The container has a foil insert (10) to make it watertight, and a supporting structure (20) in which the foil insert is fitted. The liquid pressure present in the foil insert is taken by the support structure. Part of the pressure is relieved from the structure by the elastic deformation of the foil insert. The expansion space (24) is provided for by recesses in the supporting structure.
