<p>A motor driving device for automobiles and a hybrid electric vehicle driving device having a semiconductor element for driving a motor. A power converting element for driving the motor and a control element are so housed in a casing that they are stacked independently of each other. The casing is made of a good thermal conductor. A cooler is thermally connected to the casing, and the control device is supported through thermally conductive means in thermal contact with the casing. With this simple construction, the device can be small and highly reliable while suppressing the rise of temperature of the control element.</p> |
