METHOD FOR REGULATING LASER OUTPUT OF CTP SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily and surely regulating laser output of a CTP(computer to press) for forming a printing plate as a machine plate by a laser in accordance with digital data. SOLUTION: The printing plate is made into the machine plate at a prescribed dot % with the CTP system for forming the printing plate into the machine plate by the laser in accordance with the digital data (STEP1). Printing is executed (STEP2) and the dot % is measured from the resultant printed matter (STEPS3, 4). The regulation value of the laser output is determined from the correlation between the dot % and the laser output (STEP5), by which the regulation of the laser output is executed.
