[Also in Division A4] A conveying and storing device comprises two parallely spaced endless chains 6, Fig. 1, running in guiding and supporting channels 2, 4 and a trolley formed by two opposite links 12, one in each chain, having two lower rollers 20, Fig. 4, rolling on the guiding channel and a third upper roller 21 for co-operating with inclined planes at the foot of inner legs 29 on a frame 26 supporting articles to be stored between the chains, whereby movement of the chains allows the third roller to convey the frames towards the left along the supporting channel in virtue of its action on the inclined planes which lift an outer frame leg 28 off an upper part of the channel. The outer leg drops back on to the channel when the roller 21 leaves leg 29 on the trolley abutting an end stop 30. |
