When an exceptional situation as defined by predetermined characteristics of a trigger program (APG) occurs in a data processing system, data state detection is provided. At least one relevant amount of data (PRK, ADT, AFR, KDT, BER) that is at least indirectly affected by access by the trigger program (APG) and defined for the conclusion of circumstances leading to said exceptional situation, is selected according to a predetermined rule, and a detection copy (EFK) of the contents of the at least one relevant amount of data (PRK, ADT, AFR, KDT, BER) is established in such a form that it enables further transmission to another data processing system independently from said trigger program (APG). |
