The method involves determining the position of a secondary picture (1) within a main picture (2) and the condition of the secondary picture by an evaluation unit dependent on movement in the content of the main picture. Preferably, the position of the secondary picture is so determined that the content of the section which is changed over the main picture has little movement in comparison with the remaining sections. Only sections are considered which are located in one of the four corners of the main picture. The size of the secondary picture is determined dependent on the movement. |
