Since, conventionally, the cooling device of a semiconductor power converter is operated continuously with a fixed cooling capacity, the temperature of the power semiconductor used in the converter varies due to the load change of the converter and causes heat cycles deteriorating the life and reliability of the power semiconductor. Therefore, the flow rate of the coolant which cools elements is continuously variably controlled by means of a liquid feeding means and a flow rate control means so that the outlet temperature T2 of the coolant may be constant and, at the same time, a variable blower is also continuously variably controlled by means of a temperature controller so that the inlet temperature T1 of the coolant may be constant.
|
