False twist friction disc arrangement for folded S-Z yarns

The false twisting arrangement using friction discs has two adjacent units, each having three shafts arranged at the apices of an equilateral triangle. The false-twisted or textured yarns are folded together. The bisectors (10) of the corner angles of the triangles make an angle ( alpha ) with each other which is greater than 0 deg . The exit yarn guides (7) are on or near the bisectors (10).
