The network subscriber is equipped with devices which determine the amount of falsified and genuine data packets within a pre-settable time interval, and trigger a security-related reaction, if the ratio of falsified to genuine data packets reaches or oversteps a pre-settable value, or which determine the amount of falsified data packets within a pre-settable time interval and trigger the reaction, if the amount reaches or oversteps a pre-settable value. |
