A tooth shape impression recording member capable of improving a measuring accuracy by an ideal diffusion system laser beam and being excellent in fixing property to a tooth and impression recording property for opposite teeth, the member comprising a fixing unit for fixing to a tooth in close contact with it and an impression recording unit for recording tooth impressions of opposite teeth, wherein a reflection characteristic improving agent is added to at least the impression recording unit.
