The traffic lights comprise at least 2 lights (3a,b) whose light signals are controlled over at least one data transmission path by a control management arrangement (4). A sensor (7) is provided in at least one light, which records the traffic in an area (1'') in front of the light remotely, and provides a sensor signal for the control of the lights to the control arrangement at intersections, such as at an entry of at least one vehicle in this area.
