<p>A mine roof bolt 10 (Figure 2) or 80 (Figure 8) includes a flexible cable 12 or 82 having a drive head 14 or 84 integrally formed with, or attached to, the outer end, so that the bolt can be rotated by means of the driving faces 16 or 86 of the head 14 or 84, for resin or cement grouting. The drive head may be attached to the cable end by hot forging or casting or swaging or press fitting or adhesive (containing filings). A barrel and wedge assembly may be attached to the cable so that the drive head is utilized mainly for rotating the cable.</p> |
