The sealing component encompasses a profile body (2,11) with fastening features at one of its ends for being accommodated in the door or frame. At its other end it has a sealing lip which is formed as a sealing strip (3,4,12,13) and is inclined relative to the surface of the door. Two sealing strips are involved, being arranged on the profile body at a distance from each other. In the area of the sealing strips the profile body may be elastically pliable and have a hollow space (5,14). Two sealing pieces (1,10) locate against each other with the sealing strips.
