<p>A shade 10 for a vehicle light is positioned at the front end of the light source 5 and comprises a front part 16, a mounting legs 12,13 joining the shade to the lamp reflector (6,fig.1) and a peripheral wall part 17 with at least one opening 14 for radiating heat. The openings may be positioned in the upper and lower surfaces of the peripheral wall part and may be of different shapes. The gradient portions 18a-18e surrounding the openings aids the removal of heat. The light source is covered with a transparent cover 7 with a functional colour which is joined to the reflector by a metal joining member 8.</p> |
