[Also in Division G3] The heating and control element of an electrically heated blanket or the like comprises a wound heating element 16 closely associated with a first control conductor 27 and a second control conductor 35. The control conductor 27 may be wound of nickel wire and the second control conductor 35 may be in the form of an inter winding layer of a thermoplastic synthetic resin such as polyvinyl chloride.
