PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary drum and its supporting structure whose various parts are prevented from generation of stresses due to the braking reaction force without requiring any particular space. SOLUTION: An outer cylindrical part 61 and an inner cylindrical part 62 are provided on a flange 6 to be installed at the end of a rotary drum 2, and a sleeve 7 is loosely fitted on the inner cylindrical part 62, and a friction brake is installed between the sleeve 7 and the outer cylindrical part 61. In the condition installed on the device body, the rotating drive is received through the inner cylindrical part 62 while a pawl 71 provided on the sleeve 7 is engaged with the body side to establish fixation, and thus the braking effect can be exerted. |
