PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing brush capable of producing a good polishing- brushing effect, and at the same time, of achieving a decrease in cost while the break prevention effect of brush material is retained. SOLUTION: A number of filaments are thickly arranged in parallel, and the parallel filaments are solidified by a flexible heat resistant adhesive 2 after hardening to form a strip brush material 1. Many strip brush material 1 are planted in a trough-like channel 6 or on the outer peripheral edge of a circular plate to form a channel type polishing brush 8 or a disk type polishing brush for forming a roll brush.
