PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry-in articles at a high speed and carry out a desired article in a desired order and in an extremely short time. SOLUTION: In this cargo assortment method for articles capable of cargo- assorting a plurality of articles, an article to be assorted is supplied by kinds, and the supplied articles are stored into the article storage part 12 of a rotating rack 1 rotatably-supported in the roughly same order as a delivery order, and the rotating rack 1 is rotated in the reverse direction to take out the article stored in the article storage part in a specified order. Respective single rotating rack bodies 11 in the rotating rack 1 movably-supports a plurality of article storage parts 12 on a horizontal and oblong travelling rail, and hangs a driving chain between a driving gearwheel and a free rotating gearwheel along the travelling rail so that the article storage part 12 may be fixed to the driving chain at regular intervals to drive the driving gearwheel by a motor, thus it is possible to rotated it irrespective of the single rotating rack body 11 at the other stage.
