PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust, according to the height of cargo loaded on a fork, the position of a fastening member fastened to the cargo. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a winding drum 12 for winding a belt 11 on the backrest 2 of a forklift and a locking metal fitting freely removably engaging a plug-in tool attached to the end of the belt 11. The winding drum 12 and the locking metal fitting 13 are freely elevatably attached to a guide rod 30 provided on the back of the backrest 2 as a guide means and are height-adjustable according to the height of cargo W loaded on a fork 6. Therefore, the cargo W can surely be prevented from shifting by stably fastening the belt 11 around the cargo W.
