STRUCTURE OF CONNECTING AIRBAG AND INFLATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten the strength to connect an inflator and an airbag. SOLUTION: The vicinity of a gas introducing port 12 of an airbag 10 is externally fitted to an inflator 30 and is fastened by two bands 14. A perforation 16 is formed in the vicinity of these bands 14 and the direction in which the inflator 30 rotates. The perforation 16 protrudes from the outer surface of the airbag 10. The gas introducing port of this airbag 10 and the inflator 30 are fastened by a saddle bands 24 of a holder 20. When the airbag 10 nearly slips off at the time of inflation the perforation 16 is caught on the band 14, so that the air bag 10 can surely be prevented from coming off.
