PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for cooling a plastic molded article for recording informations and a method for cooling the plastic molded article for recording the informations which can be used for preparing with good productivity the plastic molded article for recording informations with excellent electric characteristics and optical characteristics by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A fan device 14 provided with air nozzles 22 for blowing air is used in such a way that on the high temp. part and low temp. part of an optical recording disc 1 immediately after molding with ununiform temp. distribution, much amt. of air is blown to the high temp. part. Therefore, the high temp. part is more aggresively cooled than the low temp. part and temp. distribution becomes to uniform condition. As it is possible thereby to decrease generation of internal stress, sink marks of a bit can be decreased and electrical characteristics can be improved and as generation of birefringence can be also decreased, optical characteristics can be also improved. |
