PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removing mechanism of an armrest which enables attachment and detachment of an armrest without changing the appearance of a seat to improve the efficiency of attaching and detaching the armrest, and prevents the armrest from being detached in a collision. SOLUTION: A lock means constitutes a part of a fitting member 7 and includes a hook 14 hook-engaged with an armrest fitting bracket 3, a shaft 10 provided to pass through the inside of the fitting member 7, a pin 13 fitted to the end of the shaft 10 at right angles to the axial direction, and a coil spring 9 for locking the pin 13 with the hood 14 by unidirectional rotating energization. A through hole 16 where the end of the shaft 10 and the pin 13 are passed and a hook hole 17 where the hook 14 is passed are formed in the armrest fitting bracket 3.
