PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ridging machine, capable of carrying out pretreatment by horizontally cutting the ridge without causing the over shaving off of the upper surface part of an old ridge A, and capable of reducing the traveling resistance of a traveling car body. SOLUTION: A banking rotary 4 for banking soil on an old ridge A, a ridge-daubing body 5 for daubing the banking on the old ridge A to repair the old ridge A, and pretreating rotaries 6, 138 for pretreating the upper surface part D of the old ridge A for the ridge-daubing are installed in a machine body 1 each so as to be freely rotated. The banking rotary 4 has a rotary shaft 39 arranged in the nearly horizontal direction crossing the old ridge A as the axis direction and two or more cutting tines 41 radially protruded from the rotary shaft 39, and for cutting the ridge side of the old ridge A and the side part C of the old ridge A, casting up the cut soil on the surface of old ridge A, and banking the cast-up soil. The pretreating rotaries 6 and 138 have interlocking rotary shafts 55 and 140 positioned at the upper sides of the old ridge A, and arranged in the nearly horizontal directions as the axis directions, and two or more pretreating tines 57 and 137 installed in the surrounding face parts of the interlocking rotary shafts 55 and 140 and horizontally pretreating by cutting the upper surface part C of the old ridge A.
