PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus designed to improve the workplace environment for pig carcass-dressing process, perform carcass-dressing work hygienically and safely and release relevant worker (s) from heavy work so as to improve the operating efficiency. SOLUTION: In this apparatus, on one side of a carcass-dressing line rail 1 so designed as to pierce and latch the double-ended hook part 4a of a forked hook 4 through the tendon 2a of both rear legs of a slaughtered pig carcass 2 after skinning them to effect exposure of the tendon and convey them through suspending the forked hook 4 from a relevant member such as a trolley hook 3a, a plate 7 with its upper end supported axially and the lower end turning slantly upward rectangularly to the conveyance direction of the rail 1, provided with a back groove 8 for being retentively fitted with the backside of the pig carcass 2 with the front face turned vertically is arranged, so as to be able to fix the carcass 2 in a slant posture by the aid of its own weight on the inclined plate 7.
