SOLUTION: An encoder 30 for producing Z phase pulse every time when the rotating input shaft 21 passes a prescribed phase standardized on a base body and also producing a basic pulse at every time when the input shaft 21 rotates by a prescribed angle for the base body at a period shorter than the period in which the first signal is produced, the on/off sensor 40 for producing on/off sensor pulse at every time when the rotating input shaft 21 passes a prescribed phase standardized on the output shaft 22 and a position calculation part 50 for finding out the turning position of the output shaft 22 at the time standardized on the base body, based on the Z phase pulse and basic pulse produced by an encoder 30 and the on/off sensor pulse produced by the on/off sensor are provided in this device.
