CONTAINER CLEANING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently clean an inner circumferential surface of a neck part of a body and a skirt wall of a lid by ejecting a cleaning solution at the temperature of not lower than a specified value against the container lid having small notches for transmission, or ejecting the cleaning solution in a specified temperature range against the container lid heated to the temperature of not lower than the specified value. SOLUTION: A container lid 2 constituting a cleaning solution transmitting means 44 provided with a plurality of notches with intervals in the circumferential direction in an upper part of a skirt wall 6 is fitted to a neck part of the container body filled with a content. The container is cleaned by ejecting the cleaning solution heated at the temperature of not lower than 65 deg.C or heating the container lid 2 at the temperature of not lower than 65 deg.C and ejecting the cleaning solution heated at 45 deg.C to 79 deg.C to advance the cleaning solution from the notches constituting the cleaning solution transmitting means 44 between an outer circumferential surface of a neck part of the container and an inner circumferential surface of the skirt wall 6 of the container lid 2. Even when the notches are sufficiently reduced in size from the viewpoint of the dust and the appearance, the cleaning solution is sufficiently penetrated to achieve the excellent cleaning.
