PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the rigidity of a molded ceiling product for automobiles without increasing its weight and cost and spoiling the beautiful design of the interior of cabinets. SOLUTION: Lateral edge projections 15 and 15 projecting inside the cabin and extending in the longitudinal direction of the automobile, a front edge projection 17 projecting inside the cabin and extending in the cross direction of the automobile and a rear edge projection 19 are provided. In addition, lateral beads 14 and 14 extending in the longitudinal direction at different levels at the boundary of central flat sections 11 and 12, a front bead 16 extending in the cross direction at different levels and a rear bead 18 are provided forming themselves into an endless ring to form a frame surrounding the central flat sections 11 and 12 by the lateral edge projections 15 and 15, front edge projection 17 and rear edge projection 19. The lateral edge projections 15 and 15, front edge projection 17 and rear edge projection 19 are fixed to the roof rails 5, 5, 7 and 9 of the peripheral section of a roof panel inside the cabin, and the beads 14, 14, 16 and 18 are arranged at positions near the center more than the roof rails 5, 5, 7 and 9, and the central flat sections 11 and 12 are adhered to the inner face of the roof panel.
