PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic welding equipment dispensing with monitoring by a welder at all times in the welding operation. SOLUTION: In this automatic welding equipment to execute the welding by applying the welding current and the welding voltage between a base metal and a filler metal, an automatic welding equipment is provided with a welding power source to supply the welding current and the welding voltage, a frequency analyzing device 6 to analyze the frequency component of the welding current signal or the welding voltage signal corresponding to the value of the welding current or the value of the welding voltage to be respectively outputted from the welding power source 5, and a detection part to detect the abnormal welding based on the ratio of a specified frequency zone to the whole frequency zone of the frequency component. Since the abnormal welding can be detected without any constant monitoring by a welder during the welding, the burden of the welder during the welding can be reduced, the efficient automatic welding can be achieved, and the welding cost can also be reduced.
