PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively prevent a sticking accident by providing a means for connecting a shield to a fluid treating device including a sliding part of a needle or the like, a means for rotating the shield in a separating direction form the needle, a means for housing the needle in the shield, and a means for locking the shield. SOLUTION: This needle assembly is provided with a needle 40, a hub 60, and the like, and a safe shield assembly is provided with a collar 90 and a shield 140. The needle assembly is also provided with an elastic sleeve 48 covering the non-patient side end 42 of the needle 40; a rigid sleeve 50 covering a vein side end 44; and a second rigid sleeve 52 covering the elastic sleeve 48. Male ribs 82 for engaging the hub 60 with the collar 90 are formed at an end 66 from which the vane side end 44 of the needle 40 is extended. The shield 140 is mounted to a rear skirt part 94 of the collar 90. The shield 140 has an arm integrally formed at a side wall 162 to fix the needle 40 in a slot. |
