PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the low-cost cooling system with as small installation space as possible. SOLUTION: A cooling system 1 transmits the rotary motion of a drive shaft 2 which drives by rotation in accordance with the engine revolution to a driven shaft 3 connected to the cooling fan. This cooling system comprises a rotary displacement mechanism 4 which is positioned between the drive shaft 2 and the driven shaft 3 and capable of transmitting the rotary motion of the drive shaft 2 to the driven shaft 3. This also comprises a select mechanism 5 which is capable of selecting between the transmission and cut-off of the rotary motion of the drive shaft 2 to the driven shaft 3 by the rotary displacement mechanism 4 in accordance with the ambient temperature.
