PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the fitting work by dividing the base plate of a faucet metal fitting, or slidably forming a fixing tool coupled with the plate, and covering the execution errors of feed water and feed hot-water fitting holes provided on a substrate. SOLUTION: A faucet fitting base plate 2 for fixing a faucet main body 1 provided with a mixing faucet to the substrate 4 of a wash stand or a sink cabinet bored with feed water and feed hot-water fitting holes 6 is formed. The bottom face section of the faucet main body 1 is fixed to the faucet fitting base plate 2, a valve operation shaft is inserted into an opening section 10 provided on the base plate 2, and the base plate 2 is divided into plates 32, 33. Fitting holes 34, 35 are bored at one end of the plates 32, 33, a projection 36 extending from the plate 32 is provided at the center section and is coupled with the step section 37 of the plate 33, and a guide groove 39 is provided on the plate 32 to make the plate 32 slidable, thereby the execution errors of the fitting holes of the substrate 4 can be absorbed.
