PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method which does not need the treatment for a waste soln. after cleaning by applying a filtrate of a microorganism culture medium directly to a building and removing the filtrate by cleaning. SOLUTION: After a filtrate of a microorganism culture medium is applied directly to a building by a method selected from among brush coating, roller coating, spraying with a sprayer, or the like, the filtrate is removed by cleaning with water alone or together with an alcohol, or the like, by using a shower, a sprinkler, or the like. The filtrate, prepd. by removing microorganisms from a culture medium used for culturing the microorganisms by filtration, centrifugal separation, or the like, contains not only various nutrients contained originally but also enzymes or surface active substances produced and released from the microorganisms. Microorganisms such as belonging to Aeromonas sp. (e.g. Aeromonas hydrophyla), Bacillus sp. (e.g. Bacillus cereus), Pseudomonas sp. (e.g. Pseudomonas aeruginosa), Serratia sp. (e.g. Serratia rubidaea), or Candida sp. (e.g. Candida petrofilum) are used.
