PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cargo handling performance of a device to unload a bulk material of a cargo hold by a bucket elevator forming a horizontal scraping part on a lower end of a vertical carrier part. SOLUTION: Discharge loss due to centrifugal force is eliminated by providing two pieces of sprockets 12 to transfer from a scraping part 7 to a carrier part 8 and making a bucket 9 diagonally upward while the bucket 9 is in its layer scraping a bulk material M by a first sprocket 14. Thereafter, the bucket 9 is made in an upward position by a second sprocket 15 by linearly moving it at the diagonally upward position and it is made possible to drive it at high speed by eliminating discharge of the bulk material M by centrifugal force during that time.
