PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a refuse derived solidified fuel(RDF) whereby the load on the environment ca be decreased. SOLUTION: In a method for producing a refuse derived solidified fuel(RDF) by hot-air drying a refuse with a dryer 12, then selecting combustible substances from the refuse with a selecting machine 14, and compression molding the combustible substances with a molding machine 18, a dry exhaust gas treatment is carried out in such a way that a dry exhaust gas generated by hot-air drying in the dryer 12 is freed of dust with a dust collector 20, then is thermally decomposed and deodorized under certain conditions in a deodorizing oven 22, is quenched by water spraying or water sprinkling in a temp. reduction tower 24, and exhausted from a chimney 26 to the outside of the system.
