PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid or gas valve device excellent in sealability and durability. SOLUTION: A valve device has a vertically tilted wall surface 9 within a cavity body 6 and valve carrier 7 with an aperture 12 formed therein is secured to the wall surface 9. The upper surface of the aperture is covered with a plate-shaped valve 17 having rubber elasticity and the valve 17 is secured at its upper end and opened at its lower end to close the aperture by means of the elastic reaction and weight of the valve. The valve is normally held closed and is opened at the application of hydraulic or air pressure from the opposite side of the aperture where the valve is provided.
