PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unitized building capable of reducing man-hours and costs at a construction site by securing a wide elevator space. SOLUTION: A unitized building is built to a height of two stories or more using a plurality of building units 2, 3 having floors and walls, and upper- and lower-story auxiliary units 32, 33 for overhanging parts are attached to the walls 32, 22 of the building units 3, 2. An atrium opening is provided across the floor parts 31, 21 of the building units and the auxiliary units 32, 33 and a guide rail 5 extending across the upper and lower stories is provided throughout the atrium opening. An elevator cage 6 is vertically movably mounted along the guide rail 5.
