PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide easy unsealability and sufficient sealability even when a filled content is held between a flange and a lid by providing a first seal process by a first seal panel provided with a lattice-like recessed part and a second seal process by a second seal panel provided with a ring-like projecting part. SOLUTION: In a sealing method to heat-seal a lid 12 on an upper surface of a flange of a container 10, the container 10 filled with a content is covered by the lid in a condition where the flange is placed on a carrying bucket 23, and temporarily sealed to a seal surface corresponding to the flange of the container 10 by a first seal panel 21 in which recessed parts 24 are provided in a lattice firstly in the first seal process. Then, the container is permanently sealed on a seal surface corresponding to the flange of the container 10 by a second seal panel 22 in which narrow ring-like projecting parts 25 are provided in a second seal process. The residual impurity is driven to a lattice-like part which is not heat-sealed, realizing the completely ring-like seal free from any defective seal.
