PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to recognize the moving quantity of an ultrasonic transducer of an ultrasonic catheter which makes it possible to move the ultrasonic transducer while holding a catheter sheath fixed. SOLUTION: Thus ultrasonic catheter 1 is provided with a catheter sheath connector 7 and is provided with a moving quantity display means for displaying the moving quantity of the longitudinal direction position of the ultrasonic transducer at a drive shaft connector 8 fixed to the base end of a drive shaft 8. This drive shaft connector has a guide tube which is inserted into the catheter sheath connector 7 and covers the prescribed section at the base end of the drive shaft 3.
