PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain fabric having a high light-shading rate as high as a class 1 by using a conventional woven fabric without increasing a yarn density of the woven fabric to a maximum, without using the yarn containing a large amount of deluster, and without laminating a light-shielding film. SOLUTION: Two or more polymers having different shrinking characteristics are laminated substantially in a linear shape in a width direction of a fiber. A flat composite fiber having a potential torsion property, wherein a degree of flatness L/W of a sectional shape is 2.5-15, is used in 75% or higher of warps or wefts of a woven fabric. Component fibers of the woven fabric containing flat fibers 1 are used so that an F value defined by expressions is 2000-35000. Each of the flat composite fibers composing the woven fabric develops torsion and the torsions contact between each of the fibers of close both gap parts. The expressions are F= an average denier of the component fibers of the woven fabric (dr)}1/2×fiber density of the component fibers of the woven fabric (the number of threads/inch)}, wherein the average denier of the component fibers of the woven fabric (dr) is (denier of a fiber A)×(weight ratio of mixing of the fiber A (wt.%)/100}+ (denier of a fiber B)×(weight ratio of mixing of the fiber B (wt.%)/100}+ (denier of a fiber C)×(weight ratio of mixing of the fiber C (wt.%)/100}+....
